Job Summary:

The Production Planner II drives pre-production and production planning and delivery execution. Ensures logistics compliance and communicates production and delivery status to relevant departments.

Responsibilities:

20-25% Ensures continuous improvement in delivery performance for assigned vendors to meet production goals. Proactively identifies and addresses production and capacity issues. Ensures that factory corrective action plans are established and follows up on areas where performance lags. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues impacting quality and delivery.

Manages production exceptions as needed.

10-15% Drives partnership enhancement and reconciles any discrepancies or arguments that might affect garment delivery and quality. Establishes and maintains partnerships with related cross-functional departments in the organization and with other business partners.

15-20% Reviews and analyzes production reports with vendors. Validates data accuracy. Communicates issues to relevant departments. Keeps internal systems and related LOs/HO updated accurately in a timely manner.

5-10% Provides vendors with updates and training for any relevant production docs and processes and ensures that vendors follow accordingly.

5-10% Frequently visits factories to review production status. Works with vendors on issue prevention and resolution.

5-10% Works with vendor logistics team to ensure vendor compliance, shipping document accuracy, and payment settlement in system. Works with relevant departments and teams on payments.

5-10% Deploys process improvement and vendor empowerment. Supports other company initiatives.

5% Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 2-4 years of professional experience, and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
  • Travel: Occasional - 10%
  • Work Schedule: Standard Hours
