IT & Digital Business Presales Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand their IT and data management needs, designing and proposing tailored solutions to address business challenges.
- Design, develop, and present technical proposals, solution blueprints, and demonstrations showcasing data pipelines, analytics platforms, and IT solutions.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) activities to validate the feasibility and performance of proposed solutions, focusing on big data and IT transformation projects.
- Collaborate with sales teams to translate client requirements into actionable technical strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational capabilities.
- Build and maintain data management pipelines, integrating data from various sources into scalable and efficient systems to meet client objectives.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in big data, IT solutions, and digital transformation technologies, incorporating innovations into client proposals.
- Support integration efforts for big data analytics platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and robust reporting mechanisms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution specifications, and data processing workflows.
- Act as a technical liaison between clients and development teams, ensuring clarity in requirements and successful project execution.
- Promote data governance and security best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client-specific policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent hands-on experience or certifications may also be considered.
- 2–3 years of experience in presales, solution design, or technical consulting, particularly focusing on IT solutions, big data systems, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with data management pipelines, big data platforms, and enterprise IT solutions.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing IT solutions, including data management pipelines, big data platforms, and enterprise software systems.
- Experience working with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding cloud-native application development and deployment.
- Strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and analytics solutions, including familiarity with tools like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Hadoop ecosystems.
- Experience creating and presenting technical proposals, use cases, and solution demonstrations that align with client needs.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices to ensure the integrity and security of client data.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build strong client relationships.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and sales representatives.
- Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical problems and optimize solutions for scalability and performance.
