Currently we are looking for Purchasing Manager as descripted below:
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end import process, including documentation, customs clearance, shipping, and delivery, to ensure the goods delivered in timely manner.
- Communicate and negotiate with international principals to obtain product supply, goods readiness and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and review all necessary import documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and (or) shipping companies to arrange transportation, track shipments, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transit.
- Provide list of incoming goods to logistic department and ensure goods received in the system as per actual, monitor status of unfulfilled items.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, accounting and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination of import activities.
- Provide reports (to submit) to principals, maintain accurate import records, and provide data for analysis import activities as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, international trade, or a related field.
- Proven experience in import/export operations, preferably in purchasing or procurement role.
- Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade terms (Incoterms).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using import management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advance in Excel with familiarity in formula, pivot, analytical report with if conditioning is a plus.
- Good understanding in English, speaking and writing.
