Mountainview Christian School was founded in 1981 to serve the families of expatriates living in Indonesia. MCS is a K-12 boarding and day school with an enrollment of approximately 230 students from many countries and backgrounds. Mountainview is located in a beautiful, semi-rural area about one kilometer from the center of Salatiga, Indonesia.
The Head of School, as the Chief Executive Officer of MCS, reports to the School Board and is accountable for implementing the mission of the school as defined in the Board policies. The Head of School is the “face” of MCS, representing the school to the Indonesian government, the local Indonesian community, the school staff, students, and their families.
A Christian testimony, master's degree in education and/or leadership, and experience in a U.S. style school are required.
