About the Role

We are looking for a General Manager who will be in charge of managing a highly enthusiastic team, implement the daily management and set up strategies for the business expansion. Ideally, this person has experience in a product business and is familiar with international online business management as well as production in Bali.

Key Activities

• Championing the company's mission statement by promoting the desired vision, attitude and culture: Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction

• Contributing to and implementing the company's medium and long term strategy plan
• Setting the brand’s strategic direction. Responsible for the leadership of brand, marketing and product development
• Formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business or organization
• Leading the development and implementation of the overall organization's strategy

• Evaluating the success of the organization in reaching its goals. Create and analyze reports. Come up with insights and recommendations for the organization’s next steps by learning from the current performance.

• Building a credible, efficient, reliable and knowledgeable team of people: Coordinating with international and Indonesian team members to work cohesively and in an inspiring work environment. Building and managing the team to ensure Isabelle Moon has all the key areas covered and is performing well.

• Overseeing the complete operation of an organization
• Production Coordination: Overseeing the production of clothing and accessories in Bali. Having a fine eye for detail and quality and ensuring all the suppliers and tailors deliver impeccably.
• Inventory and Stock Management: Maintaining and organizing a system that ensures sufficient levels of raw materials and products. Ordering fabric, dyeing, and tailoring well in advance in order to meet the demands of sales. Documenting stock movement and stock levels so there is an accurate tracking method in place.
• Order Fulfillment: Seeing that online retail or offline wholesale orders are fulfilled in an organized, timely and efficient manner. Including the picking, packing and shipping of orders.
• Customer Service: Responding to any customer service communications and ensuring customers are well taken care of and are satisfied.

• Sales and Marketing: Maximize sales and profit. Actively pushing the offline and online sales, marketing activities and understanding what important marketing campaigns are happening throughout the year and aligning operations and production activities. Activities include social media, email, product photoshoots, events and partnerships.

• Fully responsible for P&L and Finance: Keeping the paperwork, bookkeeping and filing systems organized, both on and offline. Coordinating with the bookkeepers and accounting team to ensure proper record keeping. Making payments and keeping up the financial management.

Skills Required

To be successful for this role you will have:

• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Have experience within a similar role for at least 2 years
• Have a basic or sound understanding of fashion: design, retail, marketing and merchandising. Commercial aptitude and trend awareness.
• Project and task management: Effectively plan workload & prioritize tasks and achieve deadlines
• Have strong leadership, management and coaching skills to develop others
• General Management: Experience in managing different processes and systems with a meticulous eye. A solutions mindset and an independent work style. Ideally, you have had experience in managing both Bali-based and international businesses.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills. A natural ability to monitor, measure and report on progress. Bonus points if you can speak Indonesian and English fluently. Be a clear communicator & negotiator with the ability to influence and work well with a variety of people
• Tech Savviness: Fluency in utilizing a variety of softwares such as:
• Google Docs, Sheets, Drive
• Asana
• Shopify
• Social media
• Zoom/Skype/What’s App
• Xero
• And others

• Social and Environmental Awareness: A passion for environmental sustainability and social impact. You align and integrate these values into Isabelle Moon business practices.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to live and work in Bali, with headquarters in Ubud. Due to the nature of the job, remote work is not possible.
• Possess your own motorbike, computer and smartphone
• Fluent in English and Indonesian
• Full time availability
• Available to start immediately
