About the Role

As Rukita continues to expand its presence in Indonesia, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead strategic growth opportunities, particularly within the property sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving new partnerships, acquiring properties, and maintaining strong relationships with property owners and stakeholders. This position is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic professional looking to have a direct impact on the company's growth and success in the competitive proptech market. The role will report directly to the Business Development Area Leader and will be based in the Greater Jakarta area.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Source New Properties: Research and discover potential properties that align with Rukita’s vision for modern, affordable co-living solutions.
  • Build and Maintain Strategic Relationships: Cultivate long-term partnerships with property owners, managers, and caretakers, ensuring ongoing business success.
  • Promote Rukita’s Co-Living Solutions: Act as an ambassador for Rukita, promoting our value proposition to property owners and guiding them through the benefits of our community-driven approach to urban living.
  • Negotiate Deals and Oversee Documentation: Lead B2B negotiations, manage agreements, and support the legal documentation process for property acquisition and partnership.
  • Market Research & Insights: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to provide valuable input into strategic business decisions.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Real Estate, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in driving business growth, ideally in the proptech or real estate sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Experience working with property owners and managing B2B relationships is a plus.
