Position Overview:
The Head of Sales and Retention for Indonesia is responsible for leading and managing the sales
and account management operations across the country. This role entails developing and
executing strategic sales and retention plans in line with group direction to achieve revenue
targets, drive market growth, and enhance customer satisfaction.
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to meet or exceed targets and market share growth in your region.
- Align strategies with group expectations to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for business development.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and account management teams, providing guidance and support to drive high performance and professional growth.
- Develop and execute training programs and workshops to enhance team skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Set clear, measurable performance goals and regularly review progress to ensure the team meets or exceeds activity and sales targets.
- Implement performance management practices, including regular feedback, coaching, and performance appraisals, to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Recognize and reward outstanding performance and provide development opportunities for high-potential team members to build a robust talent pipeline.
3. Sales Performance Management:
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to ensure alignment with group expectations and overall business goals.
- Develop and execute action plans to address performance gaps and drive improvement.
- Utilize data-driven insights to forecast sales performance.
- Regularly review sales results against targets and benchmarks to ensure consistent achievement and surpassing of goals.
4. Sales Operations Management:
- Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring effective execution of sales initiatives and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Implement best practices and processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness of sales department.
5. Account Management Oversight:
- Manage the Account Management department, ensuring effective service delivery and customer relationship management.
- Oversee the development and implementation of account management strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Set and track customer retention targets, developing action plans to achieve and exceed these goals.
- Ensure that account managers address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
6. High-Performance Culture:
- Foster a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations for sales activities and performance standards.
- Implement motivational strategies to keep the team engaged and focused on achieving targets, including team-building activities and recognition programs.
- Regularly assess and adjust team structures and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales & retention management, ideally in B2B sales and/or selling software solutions.
- Expertise in sales & retention methodologies and best practices, particularly in consultative selling.
- A track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams with a focus on culture, engagement, coaching, and mentorship.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A relentless hunter mentality, passionate about pursuing new business opportunities.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management software.
