Sales Executive - Personal Care
Responsibilities:
- Achieve the sales targets as set by the Department Sales Manager and constantly maintain a high standard of customer service through active canvassing and cooperation with the total department team.
- Present and demonstrate, as applicable, the products and services to the customers through frequent and planned visits, either by personal visits or accompanied by superiors and principals’ representatives as required.
- Prepare quotations and proposals, or cause quotations and proposals to be made, and follow up aggressively by utilizing a proper customer tracking system.
- Submit daily orders to Sales Support to prepare sales orders and delivery orders for delivery; liaise with the customer on the delivery schedule if necessary.
- Monitor customers’ payment schedules and collect payment from them if necessary.
- Perform effective market penetration by generating a high number of inquiries from the market segment assigned and advising superiors in due time of sales opportunities where special assistance is required to secure orders.
- Report and update the customer tracking and information system on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis using the approved department reporting system.
- Giving input and information to the Superior regarding the preparation of the annual sales budget.
- Present the company and project a level of professionalism consistent with the company’s standards when contacting customers and when communicating with principals by keeping abreast of company policies and of the company's products and services.
- Acquire sound product knowledge by keeping up-to-date with the principals’ and other technical literature.
- Be aware of customer needs, market trends, and competitive products and positioning by spending the majority of his time in the field.
- Make a market survey and market report pertaining to the assigned industries and products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy
- Minimum 5 years experience as Sales Executive in similar industries
- Able to work autonomously (Reports, surveys, accommodating principals, and alike) in the absence of the Supervisor.
- Good command in English (both written and spoken) in professional settings
- Job location : Surabaya
