Technology Manager (R&D and Innovation)
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. R&D and Innovation Management
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of R&D and innovation projects aligned with organizational goals.
• Drive the exploration and adoption of emerging technologies to improve business capabilities.
• Act as a mentor to the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation.
• Develop KPIs and monitor the success of innovation initiatives.
2. Technology Stack and Solution Architecture
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to assess technology requirements and define appropriate solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and organizational goals.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions tailored to client needs.
• Research and propose enhancements to the existing technology stack to ensure competitiveness and efficiency.
3. DevSecOps Management
• Define, implement, and maintain a comprehensive DevSecOps framework and SOPs for development, security, and operational efficiency.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated security and quality assurance checks.
• Promote a “shift-left” security culture within development teams.
• Ensure continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices through feedback, audits, and incident post-mortems.
4. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
• Work closely with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and decision-making support for client projects.
• Represent the organization at client and industry meetings to discuss technological innovations and opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including solution architecture, R&D, or innovation.
• Proven track record of designing solution using cloud native framework and implementing enterprise-level technology solutions.
• Experience on develop system application architecture
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and SOP creation.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and secure coding principles.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture and event-driven architectures and tools like Apache Kafka, or AWS EventBridge
• Hands-on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in managing innovation programs within the Teal organization framework.
