Key Responsibilities
- Support the procurement process by researching and identifying potential suppliers, obtaining price quotes, and preparing purchase orders.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and initiating replenishment orders as necessary.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Finance and Operations, to gather input and ensure alignment with supply requirements.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining up-to-date supplier information and contracts.
- Follow established purchasing procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments related to supply chain management, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related major.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a purchasing or supply chain environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in using computer software and systems related to purchasing, inventory management, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve supply-related issues.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to procurement and supply chain management.
