Job Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the security and efficiency of trading systems, servers, and networks. The role requires expertise in IT security, system administration, and technical support. The candidate must be fluent in English and Mandarin to effectively collaborate with international teams and technology vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
System and Network Administration:
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud systems.
- Ensure system availability, security, and efficiency for trading platforms and back-office systems.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide IT support for employees and traders regarding system access, software, and hardware issues.
- Diagnose and resolve system and network problems efficiently.
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect company data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Ensure IT operations comply with BAPPEBTI (Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency) and OJK(Financial Services Authority) regulations.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Trading System Management:
- Maintain and monitor the trading platform to ensure smooth execution of trades.
- Work with vendors to integrate and update trading-related software and APIs.
- Ensure system latency is minimal for a seamless trading experience.
IT Infrastructure Development:
- Propose and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and security.
- Optimize server performance and manage cloud-based applications.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Implement failover strategies for critical systems.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work with other departments to support their IT needs.
- Document IT policies, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in IT, preferably in financial services or brokerage firms.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken).
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with Windows & Linux servers
- Networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall)
- Database management (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- IT security best practices and cybersecurity knowledge
- Experience with trading system operations (MetaTrader, Bloomberg, or proprietary trading platforms)
- Preferred Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
