About The Role
As a Data Warehouse Engineer, you will be responsible for managing data workflows, optimizing ETL processes, and ensuring seamless data integration across platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data architecture, perform advanced SQL analysis, and work with modern cloud-based technologies. Your expertise will help drive data-driven decision-making and improve the efficiency of our data ecosystem.
Job Descriptions
- Data Workflow Management: Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines to ensure smooth data movement and transformation.
- Advanced SQL Analysis: Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- ETL & Data Orchestration: Design and implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Dagster, or Kestra.
- Work with star/snowflake schemas to ensure efficient data organization.
- Manage and optimize relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs into data workflows for seamless data exchange.
- Work with modern cloud-based data solutions such as Microsoft Fabric, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
- BI & Reporting: Collaborate with teams to implement Power BI or Tableau dashboards for business insights.
- Query Optimization: Analyze and optimize query performance for efficient data retrieval.
- Work in high-pressure environments to meet deadlines while ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Follow standards development from client. (Placement BSD)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and query optimization.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Rust) for data engineering tasks.
- Hands-on experience with ETL & orchestration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Dagster, Kestra).
- Familiarity with data modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and schema design.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Understanding of API integrations (REST, GraphQL) for data ingestion.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
- Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data visualization.
- Ability to work under high-pressure environments, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex data engineering challenges.
