Job Description:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for Civil works based on drawing, specifications and other project requirements
  • Measure and quantify the materials, labor, and equipment required for Civil works
  • Assist in the tendering process, including preparing and analyzing tender documents, evaluating bids, and point-out any concerns from owner perspective during contract issuance process
  • Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identify cost overruns or saving opportunities, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Assess and price variations and change orders related to Civil works, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved
  • Administer contracts related to Civil works, including reviewing contract terms, processing payments, and resolving contractual disputes
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, quality and schedule for Civil works
  • Provide value engineering solutions to optimize costs without compromising quality or performance
  • Maintain regular communication with Asset Facilities team, Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers and other project stakeholders regarding cost-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to Civil works

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in quantity surveying and engineering
  • Familiarity with quantity surveying software, as well as general office software such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of understanding of construction materials, methodology, and techniques purposed for evaluating costs and preparing estimates
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Good analytical thinking and detail-oriented
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in construction terminologies
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work on-site at BSD, Tangerang.
