POSITION INTRODUCTORY:
Accountant is responsible for perform the accounts payable process, ensuring that invoices are processed accurately and on time, and managing payment schedules. The role requires maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the correct posting of transactions related to costs, accounts payable, bank/cash in the system includes resolving discrepancies with vendors and addressing outstanding issues on the balance sheet, such as outstanding advances. Additionally, they need to do reconcile bank statements and ensure that tax deductions are correctly accounted for. Compliance with financial reporting and standard accounting procedures is an important aspect of the role. Overall, the Accountant is responsible for managing and reporting financial data, preparing financial reports, reconciling balance sheets, and ensuring compliance with audits and accounting regulations.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Responsible for recording daily transactions for AR & AP posting into system and ensure all documenttion accurate
- To ensure correctly for all the GL account posting into system (understanding the nature of transaction and the allocation of expenses to which COA).
- Reconcile vendor statements, customer statements (SOA) and resolve any discrepancies.
- GR/IR monitoring & reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Check and ensure all payment subject for withholding is deducted.
- Handle payment planning, payment proposal preparation and submission, include payment execution to ensuring proper authorization, based on the schedule and no delayed. and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare and update periodic bank account listing and vendor master data report (treasury).
- Prepare weekly and monthly bank reporting to Headquarter.
- Prepare balance schedule report for reconciliation bank.
- Monitoring and ensure the bank balance is enough to cover the payment.
- Prepare internal bank transfer payment and receipt voucher, payment proposal, submission and execution.
- Monthly Bank Indonesia Reporting.
- Prepare taxation listing and reports with payment vouchers and documents for prepare the monthly billing for tax payment.
- Balance sheet reconciliation.
- Monthly equalization withholding tax report.
- Prepare & updated Capex Tracker Report.
- Perform physical inventory count, fixed asset verification, disposal/scraps.
- Physical inventory count reconciliation, investigation, analysis justification from each dept for discrepancies
- Responsible for all accounting functions on daily basis as well as month-end closing, reviewing and ensure accuracy entries transaction posting and financial reporting as per deadline
- Prepare and posting amortization journal entries, provision journal entries, journal reclass or correction, recurring journal, journal accrual, journal reversal and journal adjustment.
- Support interims and external annual audit activities, working with internal and external auditors in providing documentation and review of procedures and internal controls.
- Prepare fixed asset & summary list in excel, depreciation & accumulated, run depreciation fixed asset in system (calculate depreciation), checking with the excel file FA listing, prepare the journal entries and get approval then posting.
- Assist to prepare monthly FOH & General and operating expenses reporting by department.
- Assist superior/Accounting Manager for budget tracking against actual expenses if any.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Superior/Accounting Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, prefer from manufacturing Background
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Prefer to have brevet tax A & B certification.
- Strong taxation skills especially in withholding tax.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in excel spreadsheets and experience in ERP system (Navision, SAP or others).
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
- Highly responsible, integrity, honest and trustworthy.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with minimum supervision
- Time management skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
