Job Description
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Set and manage sales goals, ensuring targets are met across SEA.
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, focusing on specialty products.
- Analyze market trends and sales data to optimize strategies and drive business growth.
- Support strategic marketing & sales initiatives, attending industry conferences.
- Provide market intelligence on demand, competition, and pricing trends.
- Lead pricing council discussions to set competitive and profitable prices.
- Recruit, hire, and develop Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
- Train, motivate, and coach the team to enhance performance and achieve sales goals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers across the region.
- Act as an Account Manager for select key accounts when needed.
A successful candidate should have:
- A strong educational background in chemical engineering field.
- Extensive experience in a sales leadership role within the chemical industry especially in Personal and Home Care industry.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
