Job Description

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Set and manage sales goals, ensuring targets are met across SEA.
  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, focusing on specialty products.
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to optimize strategies and drive business growth.
  • Support strategic marketing & sales initiatives, attending industry conferences.

Pricing & Market Insights

  • Provide market intelligence on demand, competition, and pricing trends.
  • Lead pricing council discussions to set competitive and profitable prices.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Recruit, hire, and develop Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
  • Train, motivate, and coach the team to enhance performance and achieve sales goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers across the region.
  • Act as an Account Manager for select key accounts when needed.


The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A strong educational background in chemical engineering field.
  • Extensive experience in a sales leadership role within the chemical industry especially in Personal and Home Care industry.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
