Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong background in the life insurance industry to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions, with a focus on our core life insurance systems. Expertise in Life400/LifeAsia is a must-have.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for IT projects related to life insurance processes.
- Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for improvement in existing systems and processes.
- Work closely with developers and testers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the delivered solution meets business requirements.
- Provide support to end-users and assist with training on new systems and processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and best practices.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables related to business analysis activities.
- Specifically, work within the Life400/LifeAsia system, including product setup and configuration.
- Utilize SQL (DML commands) for data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the life insurance industry.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of basic life insurance business rules and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies and experience implementing the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience handling applications (front-end, integration, or core applications) related to insurance processes.
- Must have experience with Life400/LifeAsia insurance systems, including product setup and configuration.
- Proven ability to gather requirements and create comprehensive BRDs and Functional Specifications.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Proficiency in SQL (DML commands).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
