PURPOSE
- Responsible for developing a marketing plan with its promotional activities, executing control, and evaluating the marketing activities of respective major products.
- Lead, coach, and develop Junior Product Managers and Product Executives (if available)
KEY ACTIVITIES
Planning
- Set up marketing plan and strategy based on the analysis and research of market data.
- Develop the product business plan, forecasting and budgeting.
Marketing & Product Management
- Develop and implement product marketing initiatives in line with global positioning and messaging for assigned products.
- Implement a marketing plan approved through educational and promotional marketing activities.
- Develop marketing tools, such as product brochures, detailing aids for Product Specialists (PSs)/Key Account Executives (KAEs), posters, patient educational materials, etc.
- Uphold the company’s image as reflected in all promotional and scientific pieces and ensure material is prepared in conformity with applicable Code of Marketing practices.
- Work closely with advertising agencies/medical journals/printing houses on advertising campaigns or other production or relevant promotional pieces.
- Keep updated on the market situation and new clinical/scientific data to support marketing activities.
- Analyze market and competitive activities.
- Evaluate the implementation of the marketing plan of the respective product
Performance Management
- Regularly reaching T0 agreed targets to ensure business growth
- Constantly seek new business opportunities with existing or new products
- Ensure that all emerging opportunities are fully explored by challenging and negotiating with team members
Team Management
- Work closely with the Medical and Commercial teams to ensure that marketing activities planned are implemented effectively and in line with product objectives
- Develop close relationships with doctors, especially with KOLs, hospitals, and institutions of assigned product
- Counsel, train and assist Sales Forces (SF) in the utilization of marketing and product information
Compliance
- Ensure own and team's understanding of all relevant rules, regulations, and procedures related to compliance (including but not limited to Gene Solutions/ GS Group Code of Conduct, Data Privacy, Local Directive on Interactions with HCPs)
- Ensure own and team's completeness of all mandatory training (incl. e-learnings)
- Demonstrate, monitor, and enforce the team's ethical and compliant behavior in all activities. Report non-compliant behavior and support sanctions and remediation.
- Demonstrate importance of compliance through a consistent tone at the top and contribute to overall alignment and improvement of the wider organization's compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree (minimum) from a reputable University (local/overseas) preferably majoring in Pharmacy /Medical Doctor.
- Preferably having a minimum of 4 years experience working in a similar position in healthcare.
- Experience in OBGYN products.
- Detail an oriented person and has good following-up skills
- Able to converse and write in English fluently
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
