This is a full-time, on-site Head of Operations with our client in e-commerce industry located in Greater Medan. The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, and ensuring seamless coordination between departments.

Qualifications

  1. Min. 10 years of experience as head of operation or similar position (Head of Operations, Operations Director, Logistics Director, Regional Operations Manager)
  2. Graduated from Master Degree is preferred (from business & logistic schools)
  3. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  4. Previous Industry: E-commerce, 3PL, Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, Retail Distribution
  5. Experienced leaders with proven, strong track record of managing cross-functional global teams and scaling operations for business growth.

Job Description

  1. Operational Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.
  2. Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Oversee inventory planning, warehousing, order fulfillment, and last-mile delivery to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.
  3. Process Optimization: Identify and implement automation, technology, and process improvements to streamline operations.
  4. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and IT teams to align operational goals with business objectives.
  5. Customer Service Oversight: Ensure high customer satisfaction by optimizing response times, returns, and issue resolution processes.
  6. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
