Back Store Manager (Warehouse)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Backstore Manager (Warehouse) to lead and oversee procurement management, inventory optimization, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient stock management, optimizing operational processes, and leveraging data-driven insights to support decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Procurement Management

  • Lead and oversee procurement management and inventory optimization to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain inventory levels according to Days on Hand (DOI), Stock on Hand (SOH), and Available to Promise (ATP) targets.
  • Manage inventory stock levels for fast-moving, mid-moving, and slow-moving items.
  • Track and optimize inventory turnover and aging conditions, including monitoring stock over 90 and 120 days.
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) stock rotation methods.
  • Oversee inbound and reinbound processes, including Back-to-Back and Fulfillment by Client (FBC) operations.
  • Manage supplier stock levels, ensuring optimal order quantities, lead time, quality, and cost efficiency.

Warehouse Operations & Process Improvement

  • Set, develop, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
  • Establish and adjust quarterly warehouse goals using Kaizen and CAPA (Corrective Action, Preventive Action) methodologies.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs, investigate performance issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions as required.
  • Drive initiatives to increase operational efficiencies and optimize warehouse workflows.
  • Conduct monthly stock audits and generate warehouse performance reports.

Data & Performance Reporting

  • Coordinate with the Analyst Team to utilize data-driven insights for warehouse and inventory management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational data to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain and update monthly project data for inventory and procurement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and procurement.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, stock optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/WMS).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar).
  • Understanding of warehouse best practices, FIFO/FEFO, and CAPA methodologies.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives using Kaizen or Lean Six Sigma.
