Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial Underwriting and Personal Underwriting which is to manage Underwriting cases for New Business.
  • Check completeness and validity of documents according to SOP
  • Analyze SPAJ and related documents, to give proper decision following underwriting guidelines
  • Analyze administrative issues as well as medical requirements
  • Monitor service standard and turnaround time, ensuring prompt and accurate results of underwriting process
  • Liaise with Legal and Compliance teams to report suspicious transactions found during daily underwriting processes


Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Biology or another relevant field
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting in the life insurance industry.
  • Good analytical skills with a good sense of risk selection
  • Action oriented and customer oriented, with good communication and team work
  • Able to communicate in English, both actively and passively
