IT Security Officer
Job Description:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive IT security strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as ISO 27001 or applicable cybersecurity laws.
- Design and maintain secure network architecture across all subsidiaries and operational units.
- Implement firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN solutions to ensure data security.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, including malware attacks, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access.
- Enforce data protection policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive corporate and customer information.
- Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) systems, including role-based access controls.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address potential security breaches.
- Conduct forensic analysis in the event of security incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT security or a related field
- Proficiency in network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems) and strong knowledge of endpoint protection, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or other relevant standards.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus and have a professional certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across departments and companies.
- Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
