Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for the Head of Accounting. The Head of Accounting will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities, including financial reporting, creating and analyzing financial statements, and overseeing the finance department. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
  • Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and statements to the CEO, board of directors, and shareholders.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, including accounting, treasury, tax, and investor relations.
  • Ensure corporate governance compliance and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and/or accrued.
  • Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
  • Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts, collaborating with department heads.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial reporting, creating and analyzing financial statements, and managing accounting activities
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; 1 year experience in the finance and accounting or related professional area; Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
  • At least 5 - 10 years of working experience in similar roles
  • Well Understand with Tax Law in Indonesia
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business
  • Experience in handling multi-business accounts is mandatory
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
  • Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management Property & Developer
