PT Onde Mili Golas (OMG) is a rapidly growing company in the Swimming Pool Industry, specializing in the trade and distribution of a wide range of swimming pool equipment, supplies, and chemicals. We partner with channel-partners and pool-contractors to serve both residential and commercial customers, including homeowners, hotels, and resorts.

We’re looking for a highly analytical and organized individual to join us as a Product Marketing Specialist. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in product marketing and a keen ability to analyze market trends and competition. This role involves working closely with our Product Manager to ensure our products stand out in the market.

Objectives:

  • Support Product Manager: Develop product positioning and messaging to differentiate our products in the market, and manage the entire product line lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Implement Best Practices: Apply product management best practices to deliver products and features that address real customer needs.
  • Measure Success: Monitor and measure the success of launched products using metrics to optimize further.
  • Analyze User Needs: Gather and document business requirements through interviews, competitor analysis, user surveys, site analytics, use cases, scenarios, and task and workflow analysis.
  • Forecast Demand: Develop and maintain forecasts of customer demand, communicating these forecasts within the organization. Analyze variances between forecasted and actual demand to refine approaches.
  • Evaluate Market and Competition: Establish product pricing to maximize profit and long-term sales.
  • Support Sales Channels: Create and define tools that enable sales channels and customers to evaluate product options.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Positioning: Collaborate with the Product Manager to effectively position and message products.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product line lifecycle.
  • User Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough research to gather and document user needs.
  • Demand Forecasting: Develop, communicate, and analyze customer demand forecasts.
  • Market Evaluation: Analyze the market and competition to establish competitive pricing.
  • Sales Support: Develop tools and materials to support sales channels and customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in Product Marketing; high-potential fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Additional Skills: Experience in Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency: Proficient in English and Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability to analyze market trends and competition.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
