DCConnect seeks an experienced Technical PM, Branch: Jakarta to plan, execute, and deliver telecommunications network services.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of end-to-end service deployment, ensuring high-quality and on-time service delivery for global customers.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate our service implementations, ensuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate with internal teams (O&I Department including: NOC, Order Desk, Network Engineering, and Field Operators) and external partners to ensure seamless network deployment.
- Customer & Vendor Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, handling technical discussions and requirements gathering.
- Support the Sales team or Account Manager in maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Liaise with suppliers and partners to track and manage service delivery timelines, providing regular updates to customers.
- Oversee DCConnect internal CRM system utilization for project and customer tracking.
- Check the Order Desk system daily for quality assurance.
- Ensure RFS (Ready for Service) are met and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent service disruptions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including network topology or diagrams, progress reports, and customer update communications.
- Continuously improve workflows, automation, and efficiency in service delivery.
- Perform additional project-related tasks as needed to support the team and business goals.
Requirements:
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Layer 1 to Layer 3 networks, including DWDM, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VLAN.
- Experience with Internet service provisioning, IP management, and network configurations.
- Familiarity with cross-connects, colocation, and data center interconnects.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and SDN/NFV is an advantage.
Project Management Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in telecommunications or ICT.
- Experience managing telecom network deployment projects.
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or PMP methodologies.
- Strong ability to coordinate between technical and business teams.
- Experience managing international projects and working with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken) to engage with global customers.
- Fluency in Mandarin is a plus to liaise with Chinese clients and vendors.
- Flexible working hours to accommodate time zones in China, the US, and the EU.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced telecom environment.
- Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or Business Management.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with the ability to manage client relationships at the project level.
- Previous experience in international companies handling cross-border projects.
