Position Overview: A member of the investment team, supporting the analysis and evaluation of potential investment opportunities. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in venture capital, working closely with seasoned professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential investment targets within various industries.
- Analyze market data and competitive landscapes to inform investment decisions and strategies.
- Develop, refine, and maintain detailed financial models to assess the financial health and potential returns of prospective investments.
- Lead the due diligence process for potential investments, including gathering and analyzing financial statements, market data, and other relevant information.
- Prepare thorough due diligence reports, highlighting key findings, potential risks, and strategic considerations.
- Assist in preparing investment memos and presentations for the investment committee, summarizing key aspects of potential deals.
- Participate in investment committee meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on rigorous analysis.
- Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, track key metrics, and prepare regular update reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with portfolio companies to identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives to enhance value creation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other stakeholders within the venture capital ecosystem.
- Represent Asiantrust Capital at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build the firm's presence and identify new investment opportunities.
- Identifying and resolving core issues or opportunities within business processes.
- Providing support and oversight for projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 1- 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and entrepreneurship.
