Role Description

This is an on-site role where the Embedded Engineer will work closely with the product and development teams to design, develop, and optimize embedded systems. The candidate will play a critical role in developing high-performance solutions, ensuring system stability, and addressing real-world challenges. Strong proficiency in embedded programming, hardware-software integration, troubleshooting, and attention to detail are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement hardware and firmware for proof of concept, proof of technology and proof of value for IoT smart products (Source for required materials, Setup I/O peripherals, configure IoT infrastructure, develop firmware, create 3D model and test developed solution).
  2. Actively communicate and work with team to ensure developed product comply to specification requirements and governance as part of the solution ecosystem.
  3. Document designed solutions for presentation, discussion, and technical support.
  4. Develop, run, document and report result of automated performance test.
  5. Perform test and assessment on system performances with respect to requirements.
  6. Maintain the high availability, fault tolerance and redundancy of various services.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  2. Have interest in IoT industry, mechatronics engineering and embedded system.
  3. Motivated to learn, contribute and adapt as candidate will be exposed to work on different industry 4.0 technologies features and applications.
  4. Experienced with C/C++, python, and MATLAB.
  5. Familiar with ARM or equivalent embedded microcontroller (ESP 32 preferred).
  6. Strong understanding in communication protocols and mechanisms at hardware and software level (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet IP, MQTT, Modbus).
  7. Familiar with sensors, actuators, and other embedded components.
  8. Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skill.
  9. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with different project team
