Our client is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable General Ledger Manager to join their team in Jakarta. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the recording of daily financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage data for internal and external audits. What you'll do:

As a General Ledger Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the recording of daily transactions, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing data for audits. You will also be tasked with preparing data for IPO reporting purposes. Your ability to monitor and allocate team tasks effectively will be crucial in meeting specified deadlines.

  • Oversee the recording of daily financial transactions, including journals, reconciliations, and period closings for both the head office and branches/subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS/PSAK) and the company's internal policies.
  • Manage and prepare data for internal and external audits.
  • Manage and prepare data for IPO reporting purposes.
  • Monitor and allocate team tasks to effectively complete work within the specified deadlines.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the General Ledger Manager position brings proven experience in managing financial transactions along with strong knowledge of accounting standards. Your experience in preparing data for audits and IPO reporting purposes will be highly valued. Your ability to manage a team effectively, coupled with excellent time management skills, will enable you to excel in this role.

  • Male/Female with minumum education of a bachelor's degree in economics/finance/accounting
  • Candidates who can speak Mandarin are preferred, but non-Mandarin speakers may apply as long as they meet the requirements.
  • Has worked at Big 4 accounting firm for at least 3 years and held managerial level for at least 5 years
  • Proven experience in managing financial transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS/PSAK).
  • Experience in preparing data for audits.
  • Experience in preparing data for IPO reporting purposes.
  • Has experience leading a team of more than 5 people.
  • Excellent time management skills.
