You will be responsible for:
- Provide project engineering and plant operation support.
- Managing and coordinating all project activities and plant operation.
- Execute, monitor, and track project progress to ensure delivery of a high standard.
- Raise purchase enquiries and evaluate vendor bids.
- Drive operation and maintenance to ensure minimal down time and minimize O&M costs.
- As an operation owner representative, seek input from local Operation team and work closely with Project & Development team to evaluate and ensure projects delivered are safe to operate, operable, maintainable, fit for purpose with good quality of work.
- Analyze operational data / trends to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to optimize project execution and plant operation efficiency.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensure that HSEQ and the company’s best practices are implemented.
- Prepare regular reports, minutes of meetings, and presentations.
- Document control with high confidentiality and traceability between various partiers.
You should:
- bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or relevant disciplines.
- at least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in project management, process equipment, plant operation and/or engineered system field is required.
- understanding the fundamentals of project management for scheduling, budgeting, execution, and quality.
- understanding of the fundamental process, mechanical, and E&I requirements.
- understanding the oleochemical plant operation includes production, quality, and maintenance.
- ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documents.
- have a high degree of integrity at work, organized, independent, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
- good communication skills, good command of written, and spoken in English. Mandarin is an advantage to communicate with China counterpart.
- be willing to work at plant operation environment and outdoor construction sites.
