  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Tanoto Foundation is looking for potential candidates for Education Development Lead. She or he will be a core team in building technical credibility of Tanoto Foundation in contributing to the improvement of education in Indonesia. Her or his role will involve a series of functions, ranging from strategizing, operationalizing to advising education system change based on global good practices.

Job Description:

  1. Master in strategically understanding and drawing lesson learned on LE’s programs (stunting reduction, early childhood education and basic education programs) and its contribution to sector to build technical reputation of Tanoto Foundation (e.g. to influence policy change, attract more investment in the sector or strengthen system)
  2. Identify innovation and opportunities around (Early years parenting, School quality improvement, Teacher education development )
  3. Provide substantial advice, information, recommendation and strategy on program design, program implementation and digital assets utilization that incorporate internal and external lesson learned, best practices, and research
  4. Work with MLEto lead studies/researches around early years development, school quality improvement and teacher education development for sharpening or continuous innovation – may relate to education technology
  5. Source regional and global best practices in Indonesia (e.g. teaching at the right level, principal leadership academy, etc.) for institutional building and system development.
  6. Build the technical capacity of team through supervision, coaching and link to resource/network, including developing and implementing learning and development activities for team members.
  7. Monitor and report the program achievement at outputs & outcomes levels at a regular basis.

Requirement:

  1. Master’s Degree in international development study, education study, business development or other related fields. Overseas graduate will be an added value.
  2. Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in the education development sector
  3. Having understanding on Indonesia’s and global education system
  4. Willingness to travel to rural areas (up to 20% of time)
  5. Excellent English, both spoken and in writing.
  6. Good communications and interpersonal skills.
