- Implement MECIHO project activities
- Assist community to practice what they have learnt
- Communicate project information to project stakeholders
Project Implementation (90%)
- Under supervision and direction of Senior Project Officer working with community to organize MECIHO project activities
- Communicate to community and village government on project activities and updates
- Meeting with community groups on a regular basis
- Entry project beneficiary's database
- Document project activities, accordingly, include but not limited to photos and stories
- Monitor trainer/facilitator assignments based on check list provided to the Senior Project Officer.
- Working with Senior Project Officer to testing the Business Plan/ Financial Literacy curriculum
- Ensure that all community feedback/complaints are being recorded and responded to accordingly
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders that can enrich MECIHO programs.
This role reports to Senior Project Officer
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Community Health, Social Science, or a relevant field
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role
- S/he should have a strong organizational and administrative skills
- S/he should have a strong communication skill, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
- S/he should be proficient in using IT tools and software for project management and data entry
- Knowledge of local language will be an added advantage
- Experience in community engagement using participatory approaches (e.g., PRA, Social Mapping, Transect Walks, or similar methods).
- Familiarity with climate-smart agriculture or financial literacy is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work directly with communities.
