Position Overview
- Define, facilitate and lead the development and implementation of Operational Excellence strategies, programs, Program Management Office (PMO) framework to build OE culture, program, and capabilities including mindsets and behaviors in the plant.
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement that delivers sustainable results
- Lead proactively in identifying and executing productivity improvement opportunities and value creation initiatives across the plant operating functions.
- Lead capability development and certification programs in the plant to develop and train all levels of associates in the use of OE and 6 Sigma, processes, tools and methodologies.
- Transforming and digitizing the plant operations through digital ways of working, adapting relevant industrial 4.0 standard; creating a digital collaborative environment to increase labor productivity through mobility, communication, and paperless.
Partnering and Value Creation
- Conduct Voice of the Customer (internal and external) analysis, focus group discussions, structured interviews and research to identify potential areas for improvement in support of strategies.
- Work closely with the Plant GM and Leadership Team, as well as CPS Global Transformation / OE to drive transformational productivity in order to meet growth expectations.
- Ensure the plant comply with agreed global OE standards.
- Define and implement a robust assessment plan to bring all functions in the plant to the required Business Excellence maturity levels.
- Completing SOEL capability development program.
- Coach and train plant associates at all levels on OE principles, systems, tools and methodologies. This includes also 6 Sigma systems and tools.
- Identify capability gaps relating to OE and make recommendations and plans to close those gaps.
- Using the power of analytics and industry 4.0 techniques to transform the plant’s processes and ability to manage the plant
- Driving digitization in operations in order to enhance the experience of our font-line staff, making it easier to get things done, by developing and/or replicating digital solutions as part of the Transformation, enabling real time system connection as much as possible and minimize duplication and re-work.
