Job Description

This role supports the development and implementation of Data Governance and Data Protection policies and procedures within the bank. The position ensures compliance with relevant regulations and works closely with business units, service owners, and data owners to conduct risk assessments and manage ROPA (Records of Processing Activities) related to data processing within the bank.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in drafting and updating Data Governance and Data Protection policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the effective implementation of established policies and procedures.

- Prepare draft documents for policies and/or procedures based on team guidance, for further review and approval by authorized stakeholders.

- Collaborate with business units and data owners to support risk assessment processes related to data processing and protection.

- Assist in monitoring the implementation of Data Governance policies and procedures.

- Prepare periodic reports on ROPA compliance, including updated data processing records, risk evaluations, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Governance, Data Protection, Information Security, or Risk Management.

- Experience in the banking or financial services sector is preferred.

- Understanding of data governance and protection regulations, such as those from OJK, Bank Indonesia (BI), or LPS.

- Experience in developing and implementing Data Governance, Data Protection, and Information Security policies and procedures.

- Familiarity with data risk assessment processes, including DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) or ROPA (Records of Processing Activities).

- Knowledge of Data Management Frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, NIST, or COBIT is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
