  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reports directly to the Program Manager, s/he works closely with stakeholder to ensure programme Rural Resilience Initiative (RURISE) outcomes and to play a key role in its implementation in order to achieve maximum impact. Specific responsibilities of the Project Officer include but are not limited to: 1. Coordinate and implement project activities according to the work plan. 2. Engage and build strong relationships with local communities, including farmers, business groups, village officials, and local government. 3. Facilitate training and mentoring sessions related to social entrepreneurship, community based business development, sustainable agriculture practices, cocoa product development, and nonformal education practices for rural communities. 4. Lead the Volunteach program, including volunteer recruitment and coordination, curriculum planning, and teaching activities for rural students. 5. Oversee and ensure the learning center, Natsir Eco School, can run properly, including maintain the learning center, and actively encourage the community to join the learning center. 6. Collect data, conduct monitoring activities, and prepare project progress reports. 7. Identify field challenges and provide recommendations for sustainable solutions. 8. Work closely with HO team and donors to develop project sustainability strategies. 9. Provide support to produce appropriate content such as project case studies, reports and stories to be shared both internally and externally on different channels (website, social media, intranet, newsletters etc). 10. Ensure child safeguarding, equal opportunities and inclusion and environmental standards are met or exceeded. 11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager and Director

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Education, Environmental Studies, Economics, Agriculture, Forestry, Tourism, Product Design, or related experience.
  2. Min. 2 years of experience in community development programs, rural development, social entrepreneurship, or educational projects.
  3. Strong understanding of social entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, local product development, or community economic resilience.
  4. Experience working with rural communities, particularly in Toraja or Sulawesi, is preferred.
  5. Skilled in facilitation and training using participatory approaches.
  6. Strong communication and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders.
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive attitude.
  8. Willing to stay in the project site in Tana Toraja. 9. Proficient in English and Indonesian languages, both written and verbal
