PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Senior Program Manager in project planning and implementation and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering impactful training and consulting programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in Project Management/ Training/ Consulting projects as assigned by the Senior Program Managers and/or Senior Director for RSE, which includes controlling deadlines, and activities, and managing communications with collaborating project teams
  • Ensure that project plans and arrangements are aligned with the project goals and generating the required project narrative and finance reports
  • Support in implementing projects that support the organization's mission, vision, and goals
  • Assist in the delivery of training and consulting programs
  • Communicate/coordinate with partners and other stakeholders to pursue successful implementation of RSE activities
  • Analyze and prepare reports for program directors, as requested
  • Analyze and compile insightful reports for program directors, providing valuable insights for decision-making
  • Prepare and attend meetings with DIWA Lead Consultants/Program Managers/Project Leads with clients.
  • Coordinate between the client/suppliers/DIWA teams to set up meetings and consultation sessions and to support Project Leads during meetings and/or engagement activities with the client.
  • Prepare meeting notes and/or reports from meetings which may include recommended changes/suggestions for improvement.
  • Participate in audits as members of the audit or assessment teams as and when requested in the capacity so needed for the team. In particular, the Program Coordinator will be asked to be part of the Assessment/Audit team as a 2nd Lead Auditor and/or Worker Interviewer.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of project management experience in any field
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs
  • Excellent communication skills and having a collaborative mindset are essential
  • Ability to meet and manage deadlines, achieve targets, and provide all required inputs to deliverables
  • Ability to work with people of different cultures
  • Create and dynamic, with flexible approach to work
