The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of data center construction projects. This role ensures that all construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The Construction Manager will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data center facilities.

Key Responsibility:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of data center construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges through proactive problem-solving.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Optimize construction processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, reports, and change orders.
  • Lead and mentor on-site construction teams to ensure performance excellence.

The successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management.
  • Good knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and structural elements.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
