- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, Mining, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in commodity trading, supply chain management, or finance are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in nickel ore trading, mining, or commodity trading.
- Proven track record in business development, contract negotiation, and international trade.
- Experience in dealing with nickel ore suppliers, smelters, and regulatory bodies.
- Strong understanding of nickel ore market trends, pricing mechanisms, and supply chains.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations, international trade laws, and shipping logistics.
- Knowledge of risk management, hedging strategies, and financial modeling in commodity trading.
- Strong leadership experience in managing teams, making strategic decisions, and driving business growth.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and stakeholders.
- Skilled in problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (other languages like Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia are a plus).
- Ability to present reports, market analysis, and business proposals effectively.
- Willingness to travel internationally for business meetings and supplier visits.
- High adaptability to market fluctuations and regulatory changes.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance with environmental and trading regulations.
