  • Staying updated on government regulations and policies affecting nickel ore trading.
4. Operational & Financial Oversight
  • Managing procurement, logistics, and distribution of nickel ore.
  • Overseeing financial performance, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Ensuring compliance with international trade laws and environmental regulations.
5. Team Leadership & Performance Management
  • Leading and managing teams involved in procurement, sales, and logistics.
  • Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) and driving business growth.
  • Enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring smooth execution of trade transactions.
Requirements: 1. Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, Mining, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in commodity trading, supply chain management, or finance are a plus.
2. Work Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in nickel ore trading, mining, or commodity trading.
  • Proven track record in business development, contract negotiation, and international trade.
  • Experience in dealing with nickel ore suppliers, smelters, and regulatory bodies.
3. Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of nickel ore market trends, pricing mechanisms, and supply chains.
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations, international trade laws, and shipping logistics.
  • Knowledge of risk management, hedging strategies, and financial modeling in commodity trading.
4. Leadership & Management Skills
  • Strong leadership experience in managing teams, making strategic decisions, and driving business growth.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and stakeholders.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making.
5. Communication & Language Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English (other languages like Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia are a plus).
  • Ability to present reports, market analysis, and business proposals effectively.
