Country Sales Executive
Job Specifications:
Kee Safety is the global leader in Safety Products to Protect People from Hazards. Headquartered in the UK, selling products in over 60 countries. Operating a regional office and warehousing in Singapore to support our customers in South-East Asia.
We are seeking an experienced salesperson to deliver high organic growth returns to the Kee Safety Group and its investors. Kee Safety’s business in Indonesia continues to expand as local health and safety rules and regulations to protect employees come into force.
The main objective of this role is to support and manage our existing partner and expand sales in the country by marketing the full range of Kee Safety products and action the strategy as advised by the BDD.
Job Descriptions:
- Build on existing client relationships to develop sales opportunities.
- Win Commercial or Government projects across Indonesia.
- Develop good relationships with Consultants, Contractors and other industry stakeholders to push products to the market.
- Train external clients on the products.
- Pursuit for new client opportunities to increase sales revenue.
- Meeting and exceeding annual sales targets set by the management team.
- Negotiating of commercial contracts regionally
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to increase product knowledge to service existing clients.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- About 3-5 years of B2B Sales, preferably in construction project sales, as you'll be required to pitch to relevant stakeholders.
- Good network with Architects, Consultants, etc., to promote the brand and grasp market shares.
- Results-oriented and able to work independently as you will only have a lean team in Singapore and need to be able to work under minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications or training in sales and project management (desirable).
- Financial Acumen: Proficient in project costing, budgeting, and profit margin calculations.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the Country.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Bahasa (additional preference is a plus)
- Management Experience: Skilled in finding, appointing, and managing distributors, partners, and contractors.
General Requirements
- Kee Safety sells its extensive range of products through various routes-to-market. These include direct-to-end users, distributors, installers, other equipment manufacturers and the Internet. Your primary role is to sell the product range to the end-user, evaluate the optimum route to secure the project and maximise the profit margin for Kee Safety.
- The primary objective is to sell directly to the end user, where we can sell at higher prices and be in control of the route-to-market.
- Participate in a weekly conference call discussing the weekly and monthly objectives, current sales position, key areas of focus, 3-month strategic plan, and progress of our regional expansion plan.
- Establish and maintain high-level contacts in key blue chip/top 100 companies in Indonesia with the specific objective of winning orders for products.
- Regular customer visits and managing the distribution channels.
- Utilise the BCI Asia tool to monitor projects in Indonesia and prospect for new business, new connections and purchase orders.
- Perform G, D, M calls and emails on a daily and weekly basis. Maintain records and report on them on a weekly basis.
- Hold regular meetings with customers. If travelling other provinces, you must submit a travel and customer schedule in advance to ensure we are receiving value for money.
- Only use the Kee Safety Company PowerPoint presentation. Adhering to the marketing policy on style, colours, fonts and branding.
- Acquisitions could be key to building momentum in APAC. Working with the RSM you should identify suitable companies to consider who meet the criteria as set out by Kee Safety.
- Participate in quarterly appraisals and annual appraisals with the RSM.
- Work with Product Managers to ensure all new products launched are tracked correctly and promoted with support from the marketing team.
- Meeting Notes are vital to remembering what has been agreed during a meeting and what actions other people need to complete. Ensure you complete these and save them to Egnyte for review.
- Maintain the highest ethical conduct always and ensure the highest levels of safety are adhered to.
- To complete any other duty as may be required from time to time.
Reporting Responsibilities
- Provide regular sales & project reports to ensure you are on track to deliver your Indonesia forecasts in line with the business unit plan.
- 3 months forecast to be submitted before 1st working day of each month. This must be agreed in advance with the RSM.
- Monthly Business report to be submitted to the RSM
- Weekly meetings on the “Microsoft Teams” online platform to provide updates on each project and ensure the closing deadline is accurate. Keep the projects list updated on Egnyte for regular discussions with the RSM.
- Monitor and track competitors, their prices, locations, and routes to market to ensure we are competitive and win projects and orders.
- Submit an RFGF report on the numbers for Indonesia to the RSM.
The successful candidate will be based in Indonesia and will support projects in the Asia Pacific region.
