Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and assist in the development of corrective actions.
  • Provide HSE training and induction programs for all valmet site personal.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, and training records.
  • Assist in the preparation of HSE reports and presentations for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement among all valmet site personnel.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Monitor and ensure the availability of necessary safety equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Stay updated with the latest HSE regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., General OHS expert (AK3 Umum), NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Working Conditions

  • This position requires working on-site at project locations.
  • May involve exposure to hazardous conditions and materials.
  • Must be able to wear and use appropriate PPE.
