Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and assist in the development of corrective actions.
- Provide HSE training and induction programs for all valmet site personal.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, and training records.
- Assist in the preparation of HSE reports and presentations for management and regulatory bodies.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement among all valmet site personnel.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and ensure the availability of necessary safety equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Stay updated with the latest HSE regulations and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., General OHS expert (AK3 Umum), NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- This position requires working on-site at project locations.
- May involve exposure to hazardous conditions and materials.
- Must be able to wear and use appropriate PPE.
