We're Hiring: R&D Chef Baker
Location: Gading Serpong, Indonesia
We are looking for a creative and skilled R&D Chef Baker to develop and refine our selection of artisan bread and viennoiseries for our new brand. While the primary focus will be on bakery development, this role will also involve supporting the other R&D team members when needed, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and test recipes for artisan bread, viennoiseries, and other baked goods that align with our bistro concept.
• Experiment with different fermentation techniques and high-quality ingredients.
• Ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
• Research global bakery trends and introduce innovative products.
• Collaborate with the other R&D teams to create a cohesive menu.
• Assist other R&D team members when needed to ensure smooth workflow.
• Calculate and manage COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) for bakery items, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Optimize production processes while maintaining premium quality.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in baking, preferably with artisan bread and laminated dough.
• Strong expertise in sourdough fermentation, viennoiseries, and pastry techniques.
• Creativity and deep understanding of flavor combinations.
• Experience in R&D, product development, or menu creation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to support other R&D teams when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
