About The Job

We are seeking motivated, high-caliber individuals to join our Tax team. This role manages our recurring tax and fiscal calculation, and support the company's financial statement and process activities.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare monthly and annual tax compliance (e.g. WHT, VAT, and CIT)
  • Prepare the monthly and yearly fiscal calculation, monthly taxation accounts (VAT & WHT) reconciliation between general ledgers and reported returns, resolve any discrepancies, and liaise with accounting team
  • Prepare accurate and complete supporting data and documents for CIT calculation (collecting Company’s data, identifying non-deductible expenses, compiling prepaid taxes, maintaining nominative lists).
  • Provide support and data request during the external and internal audit process of Company's financial statements and process activities
  • Keep up to date and get understand the newly issued tax regulations/updates, assess the impact and risk to the Company
  • Make sure monthly taxes payment and reporting are reliable, complete, and executed in a timely manner within deadline
  • Make sure proper and complete filing for all taxation related documents (tax returns, tax slips, tax bills, SSP, EJKP, COR, DGT, correspondence letters with tax authority, etc.)
  • Prepare accurate tax invoices and tax slips every day in a timely manner
  • Crediting VAT input in a timely manner
  • Distribute tax slips to vendors regularly and in a timely manner
  • Assist supervisor/manager to address tax questions from internal/external parties
  • Escalate tax related issues in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the Company's account representatives (AR) from the tax authority
  • Liaise with AP and AR team for tax invoice, tax slips, WHT deductions related inquiries or disputes

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Having 2-3 years of experience in tax role, preferably within a consulting, corporate, or banking environment
  • Solid understanding of finance, accounting, tax, and basic bookkeeping principles.
  • Logical and analytical skillset
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proactive, highly motivated, self-disciplined, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure, meeting established goals and objectives within the specific deadline while maintaining high quality at all times
  • Familiarity with MS Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential
  • Familiar in operating and using tax applications (e.g. e-faktur, DJP online, etc.)
  • Having tax/brevet certifications is a plus point
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Travel, if and only when required
