Research Trend Analyst
Research Trend Analyst assist in conducting market research, collecting data, and analyzing trends within the retail sector ( Various generations, especially Generation Z)
Key Responsibilities :
• Plan & execute market research initiative to identify consumer trends and behavior. This may involve designing and executing surveys, focus groups, and other research studies to gather data.
• Conduct secondary research by analyzing reports, market publications, online reviews, social media (TikTok, Instagram), and other relevant sources.
• Develop detailed consumer profiles/persona based on research and data analysis. This includes identifying consumer demographics, behavior patterns, motivations, and preferences.
• Look for opportunities and conduct market analysis related to potential/trendy new categories/brands/products
• Provide trend-related data to support marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
• Work with cross-functional teams such as marketing, merchandise, to develop and execute strategies that align with the company's goals.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and techniques in market research and retail analytics.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
• Min 2 years of experience in market research, retail analytics, or a similar research-focused role (entry-level experience are acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple research projects.
• Ability to present data clearly and effectively through reports and visual presentations
