We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Assistant Manager to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting process by gathering data, analyzing trends, and preparing reports. Assist in the development of financial forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Audit Support: Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audits. Assist in the implementation of audit recommendations and improvements to financial processes.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance and accounting functions. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of new policies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA designation is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
