Key Responsibilities

- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Audit Support: Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audits. Assist in the implementation of audit recommendations and improvements to financial processes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance and accounting functions. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of new policies as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
