Perfetti Van Melle is a privately-owned company, producing and distributing candies and chewing gums in more than 150 countries worldwide. The business is now looking for a strong full-time General Accounting Supervisor. The work location is in our Cibinong Office. In this role, you will report directly to the General Accounting & Purchase to Pay Manager.

Your Role

  1. Performing monthly closing including GL entries, fixed assets closing, accruals, prepayment and revaluation.
  2. Conducting periodic account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  3. Examining financial statements to check them for accuracy and conformity to statutory requirements and accounting principles.
  4. Conducting yearly inventory stock count.
  5. Coordinating internal and external audits and implementing audit findings to improve financial processes.
  6. Communicating financial information to non-financial staff and stakeholders.

Your Profile

  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. Proven work experience as a General Accountant or similar role with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  3. Good in English both oral and written.
  4. Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) knowledge is a plus.
  5. Advanced MS Excel skills and working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. SAP).
  6. Well-organized with ability to prioritize.
  7. Very good problem-solving and communication skills.
  8. Attention to detail, accuracy and good analytical skills.
  9. Strong integrity and professionalism.
  10. Willing to be based in Cibinong Office.
