Perfetti Van Melle is a privately-owned company, producing and distributing candies and chewing gums in more than 150 countries worldwide. The business is now looking for a strong full-time Associate Consumer Insight Manager. The work location is in our Head Office in Tebet, Jakarta. In this role, you will report directly to the Sr. Consumer Insight Manager.

Your Role

  1. Collaborate with marketing teams to identify insights needs, plan, appropriate solutions and deliver actionable inputs. Both strategic and tactical.
  2. Find, collate, and evaluate relevant information and data from across organization, market, competitors and the retail landscape to support the development of marketing and product strategy, evaluate of ad performance.
  3. Provide understanding consumer needs & trend up to macroeconomics, category related, competitor, retail audit & brand tracking.
  4. Design, execute, analyze and provide recommendation for consumer research projects (Qualitative, Quantitative, offline, online, NPD development, etc.)
  5. Manage relationships with agencies and partners. Able to drive best performance out of suppliers while keeping projects within budget and on time.
  6. Cooperation with Global Consumer Insight Team for sourcing information and providing requested data/information.

Your Profile

  1. Background in data analytics and market research, preferable as Consumer Insight in client side for minimum 3 years.
  2. Hands-on experience in variety of qualitative and quantitative consumer research methodologies.
  3. Has experience of extracting key insights and translating them into workable recommendations.
  4. Strong analytic skills - able to synthesize, identify a coherent narrative and communicate clear findings from multiple, sometimes incomplete, data sources.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills, able to navigate organization and influence accordingly.
  6. Has experience of extracting data from Nielsen Discover is preferable.
  7. FMCG background is preferable.
  8. Willing to be based in Jakarta Office - Tebet.
