Job Description:
- Manage daily crew operations, work schedules, and set performance & development goals.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and feedback to enhance crew performance and resolve conflicts.
- Train crew on maritime safety regulations and ensure compliance with government policies.
- Oversee preventive maintenance of the vessel, including electrical, HVAC, water treatment, and engine systems.
- Ensure the vessel is always operational and guest-ready.
- Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and supplies while promoting eco-friendly initiatives.
- Participate in budget planning and cost control, focusing on energy efficiency and maintenance investments.
- Lead renovation projects, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in liveaboard, cruise, or maritime hospitality industry.
- Strong background in crew management, operations planning, and vessel maintenance.
- Budget management & cost control expertise.
- Project management experience, including vessel upgrades and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Indonesian maritime regulations.
- Knowledge of ship engines and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Experience in crewing operations, including contracts, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for handling guests, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset for handling operational challenges at sea.
- High flexibility and resilience to work under demanding schedules and conditions.
