We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Team Leader to spearhead the market launch of BukuWarung’s new QRIS Soundbox in the retail payment sector. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and supporting local retailers, gathering valuable feedback, and establishing key relationships to boost product adoption and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will lead a team of sales executives, ensuring sales targets are consistently met.

  • Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in payments, fintech, FMCG, telecommunications, or banking, with a strong emphasis on merchant acquisition.
  • In-depth knowledge of QRIS, EDC, or Point of Sale systems is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring merchants in local markets, preferably targeting larger-scale merchants.
  • Self-Motivated & Execution-Oriented: Capable of working independently in new market environments with a resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to engage effectively with internal teams and local merchants.
  • Willingness to Travel: Open to frequent travel to oversee and manage operations across multiple territories.
  • Established Network: Proven track record of building strong relationships with a nationwide database of merchants.
  • Strong Analytical Abilities: Skilled in gathering and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise Sales – Engage and acquire Key Accounts and Enterprise clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
  • Merchant Education: Gain a thorough understanding of QRIS soundbox payment systems and effectively communicate their functionality to merchants.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to support sustained transaction volumes.
  • Data Collection & Insights: Accurately record data and provide valuable field insights to inform company strategies.
  • Sales Team Management – Lead, mentor, and drive a team ofsalespeople to achieve acquisition targets.
  • P&L Performance & Accountability – Ensure the team meets merchant acquisition KPIs, tracking performance through structured reporting and effectively breaking down targets for individual salespersons.
