Job Responsibilities:

As a direct sales representative for the international e-commerce platform www.alibaba.com, your responsibilities might include:

  1. Develop new business opportunities and provide clients with a comprehensive set of export e-commerce solutions.
  2. Utilize multiple channels to reach out to and engage with local exporters via calls (cold calls or follow-ups) and on-site visits to register them for www.alibaba.com services (membership registration, keyword search advertising, value-added services).
  3. Analyze customer needs, summarize market & industry trends, and leverage knowledge of export trade & e-commerce to support clients in developing their online B2B export business.
  4. Maintain strong client relationships with excellent customer service skills.

Job Requirements:

  1. At least 1-2 years of sales experience in the local market.
  2. Familiarity with the sales process for SMEs or B2B, from lead generation to closing deals, with a proven track record in sales.
  3. Preferably experienced in international trade exhibitions and e-commerce promotion.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  6. Proficiency English.
  7. A strong understanding of Chinese culture or proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
