We are currently looking for Project Assistant, full-time, based in Purwokerto, Central Javato support implementation of Sustainable Solution for Landscape and Seascape in Indonesia (Solusi) project.
The Project
Sustainable Solution for Landscape and Seascape in Indonesia (Solusi) is a five-year project to promote sustainable integrated management of Landscape and Seascape to increase climate-resilient livelihoods and mitigate environmental problems like soil degradation, plastic waste, and water body pollution and destruction. This project is implemented in three provinces together with other consortium organizations: GIZ, ICRAF, and KEHATI. SNV Roles will focus on developing and establishing the PPCP (Private Public and Community Partnership), plastic waste management, and innovative finance.
Job Description
The Project Assistant works at a project level, by providing support in the implementation of the project by following guided procedures and processes, according to specific rules and donor compliance. The Project Assistant ensures service needs are reviewed, and service delivery is guided.
Key Activities:
Contract Duration: A year with the possibility of extension

Job Description
The Project Assistant works at a project level, by providing support in the implementation of the project by following guided procedures and processes, according to specific rules and donor compliance. The Project Assistant ensures service needs are reviewed, and service delivery is guided.
Key Activities:
- Project support: provides support for the project through gathering and processing of relevant data, in line with the procedures and project requirements and based on the information supplied such as:
- Participate and coordinate with project working groups in Central Java
- Coordinate with local governments in Central Java to support the development of RKT (Rencana Kerja Tahunan)
- Service and process delivery support: applies and supports established project procedures and main processes to meet service needs, such as:
- Support to coordinate with technical consultants to align their activities for Public Private Community Partnership, Innovative Finance, and Plastic Waste management
- Support the key advisors and project manager to ensure the consultant activities are met with the objectives, required deliverables, and standard quality from SNV
- Support to ensure the administration process for recruiting, extending the contract, and initiating the payment process of consultants for the procurement team.
- Project reporting: Processes and organizes data, the set-up of reports according to requirements and performs routine analysis under supervision, such as:
- Process and organize data from 3 field facilitators and other technical consultants
- Set up reports according to requirements from 3 field facilitators and other technical consultants
- Perform routine analysis under supervision of Innovative Finance, Plastic Waste, and value chain advisors
- Project staff support: provides support to project staff members, to support project processes, such as: support the consultants and the three field facilitators to implement the project in three laboratory sites.
- University degree in Business Administration, Management, Agriculture, Forestry or Natural Resources.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experiences, preferably in an International NGO environment.
- Knowledge of agriculture value chain or climate change related issues is an advantage
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Good computer skills (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. Power Point, Internet and E-mail)
- Organized, results driven, and structured work style
