Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Merchandising & Business Development Manager located in the Solo area of Central Java, Indonesia. The Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as managing merchandising activities and complete order execution, managing buyer relationships, building & managing effective teams, negotiating with buyers/suppliers, and identifying business & product development opportunities to drive growth.
Qualifications & Job Description
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role & industry in Indonesia
• Experience in building & managing buyer relationships
• Able to build and manage strong teams for seamless order execution, implement control systems & SOP’s over process’
• Product knowledge is essential – familiarity with ladies fashion categories & fabrications
• Proficient in costing and negotiations with both buyers & suppliers; accountable for performance of own order book
• Meticulous, disciplined and objective-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong collaboration with other internal departments is essential
• Knowledge of international markets and industry trends is a plus
