The data center campus is located at the network-hub area in Jakarta where enterprise and service providers can co-locate computing and networking resource in a world class data center ecosystem. Our Data Center BMS Engineer will be responsible for the development and delivery of automated monitoring solutions to improve the efficiency, service quality and security of the data center facility operations.

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:

  • Minimum of bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering Physics or any related fields.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience working simultaneously on multiple projects, in a team or independently.
  • Strong interest in network and IT systems with knowledge of Networking Server/Client Workstations.
  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • Basic skills in processing and analyzing data using Excel.
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics, electrical systems and schematics.
  • Understanding of SCADA/PLC/DDC communication protocol (BACNET, MODBUS, etc).
  • OPC UA understanding and working knowledge.
  • Proficiency in English is a must.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Lead new project control engineering design, quality approval, process control, product evaluation, vendor proposals, evaluate product reliability, automated testing, software, testing, bug troubleshooting process, training, research and development.
  • Responsible for control systems design, specifications, programming, simulation, testing, as well as vendor and commissioning oversight.
  • Lead development and initiate standards and methods for processes, control logic and sequences, testing, evaluation, and integration.
  • Review BMS and predictive systems operation security, change management and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across different disciplines
  • Drive project schedules while working closely with design and construction to ensure milestones and completion dates are on track
  • Travel to datacenter sites for engineering studies, mechanical system audits, supervise testing and commissioning, as required.
  • Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies.
